Degrassi Mother and child reunion?

I was wondering if anyone could give me a link to watch Mother and Child Reunion parts 1 and 2 online, i would be sooo greatful. Thanks in advance.

The Expert answers:

Your best bet is probably using OVGuide to find it, they are the best site to find any movie and tv show online to watch. Here is a direct link to the whole season of Degrassi: The Next Generation – http://www.ovguide.com/movies_tv/degrassi_the_next_generation_tv_series.htm … I also put exact searches for you specific episodes in the sources. I like the results for the overall season though, since you will probably find better quality videos using that link. But i though i would include all of them for you just in case…

Steven asks…

What is Paul Simon’s song – Mother and Child Reunion – about ?

I would not give you false hope – On this strange and mournful day
But the mother and child reunion – Is only a motion away, oh…
I can’t for the life of me – Remember a sadder day
I know they say let it be – But it just don’t work out that way
And the course of a lifetime runs – Over and over again

The Expert answers:

“Mother and Child Reunion” is a song written by Paul Simon, and is on his eponymous debut album. It was released as a single in 1972, and reached #4 on the American charts.

The song was one of the earliest by a white musician to feature prominent elements of reggae. The name has its origin in a chicken and egg dish called “Mother and Child Reunion” that Paul Simon saw on a Chinese restaurant’s menu. The song has been interpreted as a meditation on death, specifically the death of a mother and the hope of reunification in the afterlife. The references to a “strange and mournful day” may support this theory.
